Brand & Messaging Activation
Activate the company’s brand strategy by crafting clear, consistent, and compelling messages that reflect our positioning and tone.
Partner on the evolution and maintenance of the company’s brand voice and messaging frameworks in partnership with the Director, Brand Marketing.
Champion brand purpose and story through consistent messaging across marketing and corporate communications.
This role is a player-coach position, responsible for both executing high-quality content and leading a small, high-performing team.
Content Strategy & Development
Drive the planning, creation, and editing of high-quality content—including product messaging, web copy, customer stories, video scripts, and thought leadership—that advances brand and business objectives.
Define and evolve content approaches that support key business initiatives, campaigns, and audiences.
Own the editorial calendar and set content priorities to align with company initiatives and campaign timelines.
Translate complex technical information into straightforward, engaging content for customers, partners, and employees through effective stakeholder collaboration.
Team Leadership
Mentor and develop two direct reports: Content Specialist and Multimedia Manager, fostering growth and excellence.
Unite written and visual storytelling disciplines to produce cohesive, brand-aligned materials.
Provide creative and editorial direction, actionable feedback, and professional development support to strengthen team performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the “glue” between Brand Marketing, Visual Design, Campaigns, and Sales Enablement translating priorities into clear, usable messaging and content.
Collaborate with the Marketing Campaign Manager to deliver campaigns and product initiatives that reflect consistent brand storytelling.
Develop customer-facing materials with Sales Enablement, ensuring alignment with brand language and tone.
Pair strong visuals with compelling messaging in partnership with the Manager, Marketing Design.
Governance & Optimization
Steward brand voice, editorial guidelines, and messaging frameworks, and train teams in their effective use.
Edit and refine materials to deliver quality, clarity, and brand consistency.
Optimize content effectiveness and audience engagement by analyzing performance and informing ongoing improvements based on engagement, clarity, and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in brand marketing, content strategy, and team leadership within dynamic, cross-functional environments. They possess a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
6–8 years of experience in content strategy, brand messaging, or marketing communications.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with proven ability to simplify complex topics.
Experience managing or mentoring creative or content teams.
Strong collaboration skills across creative, technical, and sales-driven functions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously.
Familiarity with content planning tools and project management platforms is a plus.
Experience working within the construction and building industry is a plus.
