A Brief Overview

Simulation Engineer supports the development of digital twins for MiTek's automation products. These digital twins allow for testing of HMI software, machine logic, and mechanical designs in a virtual environment, alleviating the need to test on physical systems which have limited availability. They also enable customer support teams to debug customer issues without sending teams onsite and for potential remote training of machine operators. The Simulation Engineer will collaborate with our Simulations Architect to build the digital twins from the ground up and continue to update them according to the needs of the teams that use them. Additionally, this individual will provide support and training for the engineers who utilize the digital twins.

An effective Simulation Engineer will need to be able to learn new skills and adapt quickly as each automation system is unique and each corresponding digital twin is highly custom. Depending on the system and the needs of the teams working on it, what worked for one system may not work for another. The Simulations Architect will assist the Simulation Engineer in connecting with cross-functional teams to learn their needs and to decide on the best strategy for each project. This role demands self-motivation and initiative to be able to make progress when the path forward is unclear, but the Simulation Engineer will have ample support when they need it.

Responsibilities

• Khả năng phân tích dữ liệu và nhu cầu hiệu quả, đồng thời áp dụng giải pháp phù hợp.
• Phát triển công cụ xây dựng mô hình, công cụ mô phỏng và/hoặc ứng dụng các công cụ chuyên ngành để phân tích các vấn đề kỹ thuật phức tạp trong nhiều hệ thống tự động hóa khác nhau.
• Xác định và lập tài liệu các vấn đề quan trọng về quy trình, công cụ và bố cục từ giai đoạn đầu trong quá trình triển khai.
• Duy trì và cải tiến các hệ thống mô phỏng có quy mô lớn nhằm hỗ trợ đa dạng ứng dụng.
• Hướng dẫn người dùng sử dụng bản sao kỹ thuật số.

• Develop Digital Twins: Create and maintain digital twins for various systems and processes within the company.
• System Design: Collaborate in the overall design of simulation systems.
• Validation and Verification: Simulation results must be validated and verified against real-world data to build trust and ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Highly effective in digesting data and needs and applying solutions as appropriate.
• Develop modelling and simulation tools and/or use industry tools to analyse complex technical problems relating to various automation systems.
• Identify and document significant process, tooling, and layout issues early in the launch process.
• Maintain and improve large-scale simulations to support multiple applications.
• Train users on how to use the digital twins.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ Years nghiệm trở lên trong lĩnh vực: C , PLC, Robotics, CAD, Visual Component.
• Trình độ tiếng Anh (CEFR) B1 hoặc tương đương.
• Chịu trách nhiệm hoàn toàn trong việc hoàn thành dự án, từ việc thu thập yêu cầu đến triển khai cuối cùng.
• Chịu trách nhiệm về kết quả công việc, bao gồm cả sự thành công và những điểm cần cải thiện.

• Thành thạo các ngôn ngữ lập trình như Python. Có kiến thức về phần mềm mô phỏng hoặc phần mềm CAD như SolidWorks.

• 2+ Years experience in: C , PLC, Robotics, CAD, Visual Component.
• Experience working with automated machinery or equipment.
