The Cloud Solutions Engineer is a customer-facing technical expert responsible for guiding enterprise customers and prospective customers through evaluating and adopting the MiTek Cloud solution.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
This role will work a hybrid schedule based out of our headquarters office in Chesterfield, MO.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during the customer evaluation and adoption process
Lead customer discovery conversations to understand customer infrastructure, technical pain points, and business objectives
Deliver technical product demos, presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements
Translate complex cloud architecture concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Partner with Account Executives on cloud solution strategy to keep deals moving forward
Recommend cloud migration strategies, integration approaches, automation opportunities, and cost optimization pathways
Develop high-level architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and solution documentation
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to provide field insights and influence product roadmap strategies
Maintain deep understanding of cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Guide customers toward MiTek Cloud adoption through integration strategies based on real-world experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting roles
Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, deploying, or supporting cloud infrastructure environments (Azure strongly preferred)
Experience supporting or administering SQL Server environments (on-prem or Azure)
Experience with desktop virtualization technologies (AVD preferred)
Prior accountability for production infrastructure environments, including uptime, reliability, or performance
Proven ability to communicate technical concepts credibly with engineering and IT stakeholders
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
Experience in a customer-facing technical role (solutions engineering, technical consulting, cloud advisory)
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in data center administration, IT operations, or network operations roles
Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS sales cycles
Exposure to cybersecurity principles and ability to address cloud security and compliance concerns
Experience supporting enterprise or multi-stakeholder accounts
Familiarity with CI/CD, automation tools, and cloud security best practices
Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or related certification
Additional Requirements:
20% Travel will be planed in advance and related to job requirements.
