The Senior Director of Integrated Systems will lead the strategic and tactical direction of engineering initiatives focused on robotic automation solutions. This role is responsible for driving innovation, overseeing engineering operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge technologies that support business growth. The Senior Director will build and lead a high-performing engineering team, foster effective collaboration across disciplines and functions, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget and performance objectives.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
This role will be based in the St. Louis, MO area.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute engineering strategy for integrated robotics and automation solutions, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate appropriate resources for each project within the robotics development pipeline, ensuring optimal team performance.
Innovation & Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies in robotics, AI, and automation to enhance design efficiency and product capabilities.
Process Optimization: Develop tools, metrics, and reporting systems to track progress, measure efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within engineering operations.
Project Delivery: Oversee daily engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery of innovative solutions that meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service to ensure engineering solutions meet market needs and customer expectations.
Talent Development: Refine onboarding and training programs, mentor engineering staff, and implement succession planning to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all engineering processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Robotics Engineering, with a strong background in automation and advanced technologies.
4+ years of experience leading large multidiscipline engineering teams in a product development environment.
Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects involving robotics or automation systems.
