Lead Human Resources initiatives across a defined country or region. Serve as a strategic business partner and adviser to senior leaders. Drive talent strategies that align with organizational goals and build sustainable pipelines for leadership succession.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders and Corporate HR to develop and execute workforce strategies that support business growth and operational excellence within the region

  • Lead talent identification, development, and retention programs tailored to local workforce dynamics. Create robust succession plans to strengthen leadership capability

  • Serve as a trusted adviser and coach to senior leaders on all people-related matters, including engagement, organizational design, workforce planning, and change management

  • Leverage strong knowledge of regional labor markets, employment laws, and cultural nuances to ensure compliant and effective HR programs

  • Collaborate closely with other functions to drive integrated business and people strategies

  • Implement initiatives that enhance organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement across all levels

  • Provide oversight on employee relations matters, ensure compliance with local labor regulations, and promote a positive and inclusive employee experience

  • Oversee and serve as liaison for benefits and payroll, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and a seamless employee experience


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Human Resources Management, Bachelors Business Administration/Management or Bachelors Related Field required

  • 7+ Years progressive HR leadership experience, including strategic HR business partner (Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis) required

  • Demonstrated success leading HR in a manufacturing environment and supporting corporate functional teams required

  • Strong expertise in local employment law and talent market trends required

  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

  • Certified Professional (CP) - SHRM preferred


Soft Skills

  • Bilingual (French Canadian/English) (Preferred)

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-border, matrix organization.

  • Proactive and adaptable leader with demonstrated success navigating both corporate and manufacturing environments

  • Skilled at fostering strong, collaborative partnerships across functions and global teams

Additional Requirements

  • 20% travel to sites within the assigned region and periodically to U.S. corporate offices

Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. As part of the essential functions of this role, the individual will need to access a factory and be exposed to temperature changes. This may will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines.
